A lot of good information here for a beginner. I like what you call the “kiss method” keep it simple stupid… Never heard of this one. The most thing that it takes is patience and a lot of people don’t have that. Because it doesn’t happen overnight and a lot of work needs to be done. But in the long run, if you look at it…it will become a passive income within the time.
Thank you for sharing this good info!

Hi Line thank your for stopping by, I appreciate your lovely comment. I was a bit hesitant about mentioning the “Kiss method” but we use it a lot in Australia. I learned about it through university. Yes we need to think about the long term when it comes to passive income.

The commitment it takes is one of the hardest parts of blogging. The other? Wondering if you will ever make money. However I enjoy bloggging and the subject I choose so that makes it all worthwhile!
BTW I love the examples you chose they are very vibrant sites. I think my site needs an upgrade!

Thanks for providing some in-depth ideas on creating passive income through blogging. There are numerous advantages, but as you mentioned it does take time and patience to succeed. The learning curve slowly increases and it’s important to realize that many give up just before the point that success would be reached. It does help to have community support as well as working in a niche that is enjoyable and provides valuable content and solutions to people’s problems. Thanks so much for sharing.

When I first started blogging it was treated as a casual hobby. Now that I’m taking it more seriously, it’s become a rather profitable one as I’m engaged in a handful of writing projects that keep me quite busy. It’s good because I’m on short-term disability at the moment due to a shoulder injury. It is my goal to reach a level where I don’t leave short-term disability to go back to the job that got me hurt in the first place but to replace it entirely with something I’d rather do!

    • Yvonne Bray

I’m so glad you find blogging a profitable one and that you are getting writing projects. I hope your shoulder gets better soon so you don’t suffer from too much discomfort. All the best.
