I often read reviews of various businesses, companies and organisations, on free website platforms. Wix is one of them.
Wix is an Israeli software company that have 180M+ users worldwide in 190 Countries globally. Uses chose Wix to build their website because it has over 1000+ Innovative features to choose from to make their websites.
Since the beginning, Wix has grown into a leading website creation company to service all users, from beginners to advanced professionals.
They provide a cloud-based development platform to help make it easier for you to create a significant web presence. After all, your business must be high quality, free website.
Wix built on a website builder business model known as a freeman and earns its revenues through premium upgrades from users like you.

Overall rank through Trustpilot shows Wix as an inferior product, way below the 4.7
Wix provides a platform where you have the freedom to build your website from any of the template themes you want and modify them to promote your business, write blogs, open an online store or even showcase your high-quality services.
Do you need Wix?
Wix says they are ideal for beginners and advanced users. However, the level greatly depends on what your needs are and whether a free site is sufficient for your online presence, which is done by merely answering a few questions and start to build your site from scratch:

Wix The Bad
Some of the issues cited here are based on the bad experiences of users:
- Lack of training
- A website not ideal for users
- No visitors to my website
- Lack of branding
- not enough traffic
- Lack of income
- Requires Credit Card details
- Wix places its banner ad across free websites
- Limited storage 500MB for free websites
- Speed site often slow
- Lack of SEO support
- Limited pages, you have to pay extra for more pages
When it comes to the Internet and Google, you need to be authoritative on your website, and you need more than one page of content. Therefore, Google loves you to write lots of content that includes images. The more content you have, the more traffic you will acquire and the more trust you build; otherwise, no one will visit your site. Therefore, Google is constantly making changes to its Algorithm.
Another piece of advice is the advertisement that comes with a free website. The last thing you want is an advertisement telling the World that Wix creates your site! Why? Because it lowers your rating, brand awareness and shows that it is a cheap site built for free. As a potential customer, would you trust a website that has a free website and looks untrustworthy?
Also, if you cancel with Wix.com and want to take your website to a new platform, your website stays with Wix. Many previous members have had issues with Wix because they did not have the freedom to migrate their websites to another platform.
Before you sign up and spend endless hours writing content and upgrading your website, remember that it will be impossible to move your website to another platform. You will be stuck with them!
Who is the Target Audience?
The Wix product is targeted at anyone: individuals, teachers, schools, students, seniors, businesses, organisations, bloggers, eCommerce and many more users that Wix attracts to its organisation.

My Final Opinion of Wix
Wix is a legitimate company that gives many users easy to create a site for free; however, it will cost you more in the long run through the hidden costs of building a website.
Yes, Wix starts off being with a free platform so you can get a feel for what they have to offer. Building a website is a learning curve where your viewers care about how your website looks and feels. Yet many users have had various issues, mainly not having the ability to leave Wix and transfer their site.
During my research, I wasn’t able to find and tabs for tutorials, lessons, and as I searched, Then I found access to templates to create my tutorial for my website. As I dug further, I found a link from the blog area. “10 Essential Wix Tutorial” videos created in 2018.
List of Videos
Oh my, they seemed more like an advertisement for their advanced features than a video showing you how to do something. One response from a new person was, “Poor tutorial.”
